Don’t Get Mandatory Work Vaccination Until You Read This

The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced employers no longer need to record side effects workers experience from mandatory vaccination. This means employers can now avoid worker’s compensation claims even if workers experience negative reactions from mandatory COVID vaccination.

Keep in mind, this reverses OSHA’s previous ruling. Previously they ruled, “If you require your employees to be vaccinated as a condition of employment (i.e., for work-related reasons), then any adverse reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine is work-related.” What’s OSHA’s reason for reversing their ruling? To avoid “the appearance of discouraging workers” from getting the COVID vaccine and to not “disincentivize employers’ vaccination efforts.”
